This morning, Armin van Buuren proudly announced that his contract with Dutch radio station Radio 538 has been prolonged for two years. The Dutch DJ also revealed that he won two DJ Awards, for ‘Best Trance DJ’ and ‘Best International DJ’, awarded last night in Club Pacha, Ibiza.

To celebrate the prolonging of his contract with 538 and the release of the ‘Universal Religion Chapter 5’ compilation, a special edition of his radio show ‘A State of Trance’ will air on Friday. Next to the regular show from 22.00 till 00:00, Radio 538 will also broadcast an exclusive 4 hour set, recorded in Club Space on Ibiza.

Armin van Buuren: “As a kid, I was already fascinated by radio and I’ve always dreamt about having my own radio show. Now, everything I do comes together in A State of Trance. Last year, I started the adventure at Radio 538 and it is with great pride that I can announce that I’ll be connected to the coolest radio station of The Netherlands till at least 2013.”
